DNA samples of 31 victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash have been matched. A total of 12 bodies have been handed over to the families of deceased so far.
Dr Rajneesh Patel, additional superintendent of Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, said the bodies of those whose DNA samples have been matched are being handed over to the families respectfully. A special team has been allocated for the family of each deceased. The team consists of a senior officer, a policeman and a professional counsellor.
Dr. Rajnish Patel said, the process of identifying the body of late Vijay Rupani is still on, as they have still not been able to match the DNA.
