Saturday was a memorable day for Jali Debbarma, a Community Health Officer CHO) posted at Dolubari Health and Wellness Centre under Ambassa PHC in Dhalai district as she briefed Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya about Ayushman Bharat scheme implementations in the district and also shared her experiences with him..
The virtual interaction was held as part of the celebration to mark the 4th anniversary of the launch of Ayushman Bharat- Health and Wellness Centre.
The Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare held virtual interactions with many of the doctors, CHOs and patients across the country to know their experience and Tripura’s Jali Debbarma, was one of them.
The Union Health Minister asked the CHO about her experience in handling the patients who need experts’ suggestions, the number of medicines available at the HWC and various activities performed by the HWC.
In her interaction with the Union Health Minister, the CHO confidently answered all the questions and earned praises.
“If a patient comes to me and I feel he/she needs to consult with an expert then I refer the case to MOIC of the centre followed by registration for tele- consultation. After attending the patient, the MOIC prescribes necessary medicines and we also provide the medicines available with the centre,” the CHO informed the Union Health Minister.
She also informed the Union Minister that 105 medicines were available in the HWC at present.
Tele-consultation services under e-Sanjeevani platform from SC/PHC/UPHC- Health and Wellness Centre has been initiated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
In the interactive session held with Dr. Mandaviya as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration through video conferencing, Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare- J.K Sinha, NHM Tripura Mission director Dr. Siddharth Shiv Jaiswal and other officials from the NHM were present.
