Tripura University will host an international conference on business management on July 4–5, 2025, in collaboration with NEMA. Tripura University, in collaboration with the North Eastern Management Association (NEMA), is set to host an international conference that promises to redefine the way business management is perceived and practiced in the 21st century. Titled “Reimagining Business Management: Innovation, Inclusion, and Indian Knowledge Systems”, the event is scheduled for 4th and 5th July 2025 at the university’s campus in Suryamaninagar, Tripura.
Organized by the Department of Business Management, this two-day international conference aims to foster meaningful and transformative dialogue by merging global innovations, inclusive approaches, and India’s traditional knowledge systems. The event is positioned as a unique academic endeavor to explore sustainable, ethical, and culturally grounded business models through interdisciplinary engagements.

The conference has attracted an overwhelming response from scholars, researchers, and practitioners across India and internationally. A total of 87 research papers have been accepted for presentation. Contributors hail from various parts of India as well as neighboring countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Thailand, which underlines the global resonance and relevance of the conference’s core themes.

The event will be inaugurated with a keynote address by Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant, Vice Chancellor of Assam University. Adding to the intellectual depth of the event, Prof. Arvind Kumar, Former Dean at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), will deliver a special lecture on “Intersection of Sustainability, Ethics, and Corporate Social Responsibility.” His talk will highlight how businesses can evolve beyond profitability and engage more deeply with social and environmental responsibilities.

A major highlight of the conference is a session by Prof. Weng Marc Lim, a globally recognized scholar from Sunway Business School, Malaysia. Listed in the Malaysia Book of Records and Stanford University’s global citation list, Prof. Lim will present a research address on “Identifying and Publishing in High Quality Management Journals.” His session is expected to be highly beneficial for young scholars and academicians seeking to publish impactful research in top-tier journals.
Dr. Manish Das, a distinguished faculty member at Tripura University, will also conduct an important session titled “High Impact Writing for Quality Journals.” Drawing upon his extensive publication record in prestigious marketing journals, Dr. Das will share practical insights on producing research that meets global academic standards.
