Swami Vivekananda Maidan is abuzz with preparations as Agartala gears up to host the Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024 from December 12 to 14. The three-day event, showcasing the state’s cultural richness and tourism potential, promises a vibrant mix of musical performances and promotional activities.

The highlight of the festival will be a captivating musical night on December 14, featuring celebrated Bollywood playback singer Shreya Ghoshal. Anticipating a massive turnout, the administration has prioritized crowd management and enhanced security measures to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for attendees.

On Friday, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury inspected the venue alongside senior officials, reviewing stage design, stall arrangements, and other logistics. The minister issued directives to fine-tune preparations, emphasizing the event’s importance in promoting Tripura’s tourism sector.

The Tripura Tourism Promo Fest 2024 was inaugurated on December 3 by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at Narkelkunja, a scenic tourist destination. The second and third legs of the festival are set to take place at Neermahal on December 9 and Jampui Hills on December 11.

The initiative has drawn significant attention from domestic tourism stakeholders, with representatives from the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) attending to explore Tripura’s tourism opportunities.

As excitement builds, the administration remains committed to delivering a successful and memorable festival, cementing Tripura’s place on the tourism map.
