Deputy Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly Ram Prasad Paul met Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah at his residence on Monday, describing the interaction as a warm and significant meeting focused on Tripura’s development and the state’s future roadmap.
According to Paul, the meeting provided an opportunity for a detailed discussion on Tripura’s overall development, the current situation in the state and various possibilities and plans for the coming days. He said the interaction went beyond a formal courtesy call, with both sides exchanging views on ways to accelerate development and improve the welfare of the people.
A major focus of the discussion was the vision of transforming Tripura into a developed, prosperous and self-reliant state. Paul highlighted the importance of adopting more effective strategies and strengthening ongoing efforts to meet the aspirations and expectations of the people of Tripura.
