On the eve of New year 2025 , the Council of Ministers, during its meeting on Tuesday, approved significant decisions to enhance employment opportunities and strengthen key government departments. Among the major announcements, the cabinet sanctioned the recruitment of 100 positions for Personal Assistant-II (Junior Grade Stenographer). This move aims to address the growing demand for skilled stenographers in administrative operations.
In addition, the cabinet approved the creation of 255 new posts across various categories to bolster the functioning of the Home and Finance Departments. Specifically, 70 positions have been allocated for the establishment of new offices of the Deputy Director of Prosecution in seven districts under the Home Department. This initiative is expected to enhance the legal and prosecutorial framework within the state.
Furthermore, 185 posts across different categories have been sanctioned for the Excise organization under the Finance Department, reflecting the government’s commitment to streamlining and strengthening this critical sector.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha shared these updates through his official social media platform, highlighting the government’s proactive approach to job creation and administrative efficiency. In his post, he remarked, “Our government is all set to bring new opportunities for job aspirants in the New Year.”
