Tripura BJP Announces New District Presidents

Ending all speculations, the Tripura unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced its district presidents on Monday. BJP State Observer Dr. Rajdeep Ray revealed the names at a press conference held at the state party office.
The newly elected district presidents are:

A total of 74 nominations were filed for the election of district presidents, and after scrutiny, 37 were accepted, according to the state observer.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee, and other state leaders congratulated the newly elected district presidents. The Chief Minister emphasized that the BJP is a disciplined party dedicated to working for the welfare of society through various developmental initiatives.
"Initially, we started with booth levels, then Mandal Presidents, and now, today, District Presidents. The names of 10 organizational District Presidents were declared today. I was given charge of Sadar (Rural), along with ARO, and today, the name of Gouranga Bhowmik was announced. Among 11 candidates who contested, Gouranga Bhowmik was elected," said Dr. Saha.
Dr. Saha reiterated that the primary aim of the BJP is to work for the common people. "For the BJP, it is the nation first, then the party, and then self. I urge all Karyakartas to adhere to the party's rules and maintain discipline. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been tirelessly working for the welfare and development of the nation, and these efforts must reach the last man in society. I extend my best wishes to all the newly elected District Presidents," he added.
Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury was also present during the event.
