The second and final leg of the Khelo India Winter Games 2025 has been postponed due to insufficient snowfall. The Winter Games were initially set to take place in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, from Saturday, 22nd of February, where Gulmarg’s Kangdoori Phase 1 and Golf Course Club were to host competitions in alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, ski mountaineering, and snowboarding. The revised schedule will be announced once weather conditions become favourable for competitions.

The first leg of the Games was held in Ladakh from the 23rd to the 27th of last month at the NDS Sports Complex and Guphuk Pond, hosting ice hockey and ice skating events. This year, 19 teams representing states, Union Territories, and institutional outfits are competing across six disciplines. The Union Territory of Ladakh currently leads the medal tally with four golds, two silvers, and a bronze.
