After a prolonged wait, the Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura (JRBT) has finally declared the results for 2,500 Group-D (multitasking) posts. The announcement was made on Saturday, marking the end of a process that began in 2021.
The written examination for these posts took place on August 20, 2021, followed by the release of a provisional list of qualified candidates on November 30, 2022. Thousands of hopeful job seekers appeared for interviews, eagerly awaiting the final selection. Out of these, 2,437 candidates were recommended for appointment based on merit. However, the JRBT left 63 positions reserved for Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) unfilled due to the lack of eligible candidates.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha took to social media to congratulate the selected candidates. "Heartfelt congratulations to all JRBT Group-D qualified candidates! Your hard work and dedication have led to this outstanding achievement. May this success pave the way for even greater accomplishments in the future," he wrote.
While the results brought joy to many successful aspirants, they also sparked disappointment among those who did not make the final cut.
JRBT clarified in its notification that the selection does not guarantee immediate appointments, as all certificates will be verified by the respective departments.
