Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha took swift action to address the medical needs of several individuals who attended the weekly interaction program 'Mukhyamantri Samipeshu' held at his residence yesterday. The Chief Minister, after patiently listening to their grievances, directed concerned officials to provide immediate assistance and necessary initiatives for the betterment of their health.
One of the attendees, Prantosh Hrishi Das, a laborer residing in the Ambedkar Palli area of Srinagar, Agartala, approached the Chief Minister seeking assistance for the treatment of his 8-year-old son, Rajdeep, who suffers from Thalassemia. Acknowledging the urgency of the situation, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha promptly directed the concerned officials to take necessary steps to ensure the child receives the required treatment without delay.
Moreover, the Chief Minister extended his support to Lakhi Barman Datta, a resident of Madhyapara, Bardowali, Agartala, who approached him seeking assistance for her husband's treatment and her son's education. Recognizing the importance of healthcare and education, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha immediately instructed the concerned officials to address the family's needs.
The 'Mukhyamantri Samipeshu' program also witnessed the presence of Swapna Gope Ghosh from West Pratapgarh, who sought aid following the demise of her husband, a former homeguard in 2021. Understanding her difficult circumstances, she approached the Chief Minister for assistance, which he promised to provide promptly.
Kamna Das, a resident of Joynagar, also seized the opportunity to meet the Chief Minister and discuss the treatment of her ailing husband and son. Recognizing the urgency, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha directed the concerned officials to ensure that necessary measures are taken to address their health issues effectively.
In another instance, Kartik Das, a laborer from Jolaibari, appealed to the Chief Minister for the treatment of his 13-year-old son, Ankur Das, who is currently battling a heart-related ailment. Displaying his commitment to the well-being of every citizen, the Chief Minister assured Kartik Das that the required medical assistance would be provided without delay.
Maran Debnath, a resident of East Pratapgarh, approached the Chief Minister with his 3-year-old son, Tushar Debnath, who has been suffering from a kidney-related problem for the past two years. Moved by their plight, the Chief Minister directed the concerned officials to take immediate initiatives to address the child's medical condition.
Furthermore, Arun Kumar Reang from Kanchanpur met the Chief Minister to discuss his mother, Janki Reang's, cancer treatment. Sensing the urgency, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha instructed the concerned officials to ensure comprehensive medical assistance for her.
Expressing their gratitude, the attendees hailed the Chief Minister's responsiveness and the opportunity to directly voice their concerns during the 'Mukhyamantri Samipeshu' program. The presence of Secretary of Chief Minister Dr. Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, Secretary of Health department Dr. Debashish Basu, Secretary of Social Welfare & Social Education department Tapas Roy, Secretary of Home department Saradindu
