Must Read

South Africa have inched closer to victory in the World Test Championship 2025 final after they dominated the majority of the third day’s play against Australia at Lord’s in London. The Proteas need 69 runs to win the World Test Championship with eight wickets in hand.

Chasing 282 to win, the Proteas were 213 for 2 at stumps on day three yesterday in a stirring bid to win a first ICC trophy in 27 years. At stumps, Aiden Markram remained unbeaten on 102 alongside South Africa captain Temba Bavuma unbeaten on 65. Earlier in the day, Mitchell Starc put up a gritty knock of 58 to help Australia set a challenging target. Australia scored 212 and 207 in two innings while South Africa scored only 138 in their first innings.a
