MoS for Home Affairs Harsh Sanghvi holds review meeting with Gujarat Forensic Science Experts team –

Minister of State for Home Affairs Harsh Sanghvi held a review meeting with the Gujarat Forensic Science Experts team at FSL in Gandhinagar. The Minister reviewed the DNA testing process. The Home Secretary, IGP of IB and Director of FSL joined him. Talking to the Media, the Minister said 36 forensic experts in Gujarat are working round the clock to speed up DNA matching. He said the Centre has also sent a team of forensic experts to aid the team.
 
The Minister then visited the National Forensic Science University in Gandhinagar. The Minister, along with senior Police officers, is also scheduled to visit the accident site later. Meanwhile, the investigation into the plane crash is underway, and multiple agencies have joined the investigation. At least 254 people, including 241 people on board and medical students, died in the incident.
