In their first group stage match scheduled on Monday, the Indian-Australian duo fell short against the Italian pair of Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori, losing in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. Tomorrow, Bopanna and Ebden will face off against the German duo of Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz in their final group stage match.
The ATP Finals is the season-ending championship of the ATP Tour in the men’s annual calendar. It features the top eight singles players and top eight doubles teams based on their results throughout the season. Each player or team will compete against all other players or teams within their group in a round-robin format. Following the group stage, the top two players or teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.
