In Squash, India’s Joshna Chinappa advanced to the women’s singles quarterfinals of the Monte Carlo Classic 2024, in Monaco last evening. The 38 year old Indian defeated the fourth seeded Melissa Alves of France, 3-2, in a fiercely fought pre-quarterfinal last evening. Chinappa will next take on the sixth seeded English player Alicia Mead this evening.
Meanwhile, another Indian player, Tanvi Khanna faced a defeat against Hana Ramadan of Egypt, NIL-3, in straight games.
