Ghaziabad/UNI: After covering nine states and 3,000 kilometers the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress led by former national president Rahul Gandhi entered Uttar Pradesh via the Loni border in Ghaziabad on Tuesday.

The Yatra was welcomed by Congress national general secretary and UP in-charge Priyanka Gandhi.

She welcomed the Bharat Jodo Yatra in an emotional manner and encouraged her elder brother and former party president Rahul Gandhi.

Proud of you brother. You are a warrior. We are proud of all the Bharat Yatris. We are proud of every Indian who joined this journey, she said.

Addressing party workers of UP, she said, As Rahul Gandhi has said that he is opening a shop of love in the market of hatred, you also open a franchise of love in each street and every locality.

It may be noted that the Bharat Jodo Yatra will tour Uttar Pradesh for three days.

During this, the yatra will stop at various stops in Ghaziabad, Baghpat and Shamli districts where Rahul will address the people involved in the yatra.
