New Delhi: BharatPe CEO Suhail Sameer has stepped down from his post and will work as the strategic adviser to the company.

In a press release, the company said: Sameer will transition from Chief Executive Officer to Strategic Advisor effective January 7, 2023.

This will ensure a smooth transition for current CFO, Nalin Negi who has been appointed interim CEO to partner with senior executives to bolster execution in all phases of the companys business, the company added

This comes amid the exit of several level executives from the company.

He joined the company in August 2020 as president.

In August 2021, he was appointed the CEO of the firm.

In December, Chief Technology Officer Vijay Aggarwal, PostPe head Nehul Jain and Chief Product Officer (lending and consumer products) Rajat Jain resigned from their posts.

In June 2022, Chief Revenue Officer Nishit Sharma and one of the founding members Satyam Nathani also quit the company.

Last June, Bhavik Koladiya, head of the companys technology and product divisions also left the company.

Suhail Sameer has been heading the company after Ashneer Grover was removed for financial misappropriation.
