New Delhi: The autopsy report of deceased girl, who died after her scooty was reportedly hit and dragged by a car, has stated that the cause of death is shock and hemorrhage as a result of antemortem injury to the head, spine, left femur and both lower limbs, Delhi Police said on Tuesday.

Injuries produced by blunt force impact and possibly with vehicular accident and dragging, police added.

Sagar Preet Hooda, Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) said the postmortem of the victim was conducted by a three member medical board in Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi.

As per report, the provisional cause of death is shock and hemorrhage as a result of antemortem injury to the head, spine, left femur, both lower limbs. The injuries were produced by blunt force impact and possible vehicular accident and dragging. Also, the report inducts that there is no injury suggestive of sexual assault.

Early in the day, in a new revelation in the Kanjhawala case, the Delhi Police claimed that the victim was accompanied by her friend during the time of incident.

The police, however, said her friend had left from the spot.

Addressing a press conference at the Police Headquarters here, Sagar Preet Hooda, Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) said, The police have traced her friend who was with the victim at the time of incident. Her statement was recorded.

Multiple teams have been engaged in the investigation of the Kanjhawala case, police said earlier.

The forensic experts have been involved to examine the scene of crime. The teams collected evidence from the vehicles which would ensure successful prosecution.

On Monday, the Ministry of Home Affairs sought a detailed inquiry report into the Kanjhawala incident from Delhi Police, sources said.

The five accused were sent to three days police custody for further investigation. The CCTVs footage was being collected to examine them, Hooda said earlier.
