Purvaudaya has felicitated photo journalists and TV Channel cameramen for their selfless service during the Covid pandemic time risking their personal and familial health hazards.
The felicitation programme was attended by TRTC chairman Dipak Majumdar, senior journalist and North East Colours Editor Sanjib Deb, Agartala Press Club secretary Pranab Sarkar. The programme was presided over by Purvaudaya president Alaka Sinha.
NGO general secretary Niti Deb who leads the NGO in its philanthropic activities and in organizing such events to recognise the services of the persons working at various levels, was accorded high praise from all speakers.
Sangeeta Sonkar who came from New Delhi to Agartala also attended the programme.
Purvaudaya had earlier also felicitated doctors, nurses and journalists –the frontline Covid warriors – for their services.
