Tripura government has announced a festival advance for Home Guards, Anganwadi workers and helpers, bringing smiles on their faces ahead of the state’s biggest annual festival- Durga Puja.
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has shared the update with an official notification through his Facebook handle.
The Chief Minister commented that like other government employees, the Home Guards, Anganwadi workers and helpers would also get Rs. 5000 each as festival advance, which would definitely benefit them to a great extent.
Earlier the state government announced the benefit of festival advance at Rs. 20000 for all categories of permanent employees.
There is an impact of the government’s announcements on the puja market. The employees are purchasing various items to celebrate the upcoming festival- it is helping the local traders enabling them to register a handsome profit in this pandemic-hit time.
