Telugu actor Nani has described his upcoming action entertainer ‘The Paradise’ as the most physically and mentally tiring film of his career. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the highly anticipated Telugu film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 24, with the actor revealing that the project demanded an exceptional level of hard work throughout its production.
Speaking to the media ahead of the film’s release, Nani reflected on his 18-year journey in the film industry and said that no previous project had required as much effort from him as The Paradise. The actor said the film had been challenging not only physically but also mentally, highlighting the intensity of his work on the much-awaited project.
“The Paradise is the most tiring film of my career, both physically and mentally,” Nani said. He added that if there was one film in his 18-year career for which he had worked extremely hard, it was The Paradise.
The actor also addressed several reports and rumours circulating on social media about the film. Clarifying speculation surrounding the action sequences, Nani said that the movie does not feature any underwater sequence, contrary to reports that had surfaced online. He also denied claims that the film contains a fight sequence involving 1,000 people.
According to Nani, The Paradise is built around a genuine story and contains several major action blocks designed to create a strong impact on audiences. However, he stressed that the violence in the film is not merely intended as spectacle, as the audience will also experience the emotions behind it.
“There are various news reports about the movie on social media. There is no underwater sequence in it. There is also no fight with 1,000 people as is being claimed,” Nani said. He described the film as a genuine story with numerous action sequences and scenes expected to give audiences a high while maintaining an emotional connection with the violence.
Producer Sudhakar Cherukuri also used the media interaction to put an end to uncertainty over the film’s release date. Amid various rumours surrounding the project, he confidently confirmed that The Paradise will arrive in cinemas on September 24.
“There are all kinds of rumours doing the rounds about The Paradise. The movie is arriving on September 24. We are very happy with the way things have shaped up,” the producer said.
Director Srikanth Odela, meanwhile, explained the larger theme and emotional foundation of the film. He acknowledged that the movie may have experienced some delay but said that every promotional update, including the glimpse, teaser and songs, had generated a strong response from audiences.
Odela described The Paradise as a revolutionary and emotional film centred on a mother and son, while also focusing on a marginalized community. He suggested that the story explores questions of identity, belonging and resistance through the experiences of people who have fought for their country but later discover that they have no place in the society they helped build.
The director also referred to a line by poet Kaloji, which he said captures the spirit of the story: people may own their birth and death, but their entire life belongs to the nation. According to Odela, the film follows people who fought for their country and eventually rise up when they realise they have been denied a place in their own homeland.

With Nani promising an intense action experience, the producer confirming the September 24 release and the director highlighting its emotional and social themes, The Paradise has generated considerable curiosity ahead of its theatrical debut.
