To celebrate the International Yoga Day on 21st June with the theme, “Yoga for One Earth One Health”, Yoga awareness programmes are being organised in the entire Maharashtra. Kolhapur District Collector Amol Yedge held a planning meeting yesterday and gave necessary instructions for organising this programme. He also gave instructions to organise Yoga Day from cities to villages and guided the local authorities to take digital help to make the Yoga Day a success.
In Satara district, Yoga Day is being organised in various colleges and schools. District Collector Santosh Patil has given instructions to invite public representatives to these programs. Yoga Dindi, Yogasana, will be held on a large scale in the Sangli district. The Central Communications Bureau and the Yoga Day Coordination Committee jointly organised a rally in Solapur district to create awareness. In Vidharbha, with the help of various Yoga Institutions, lectures on Yoga, Exercises, Yoga Dindi will be held on 21st June. Small celebrations are also organised at the school level.
