Buddhist community people organized the 49th Danottam Kathin Chibar Donation at Jambudwip Buddha Vihar in Kanchanpur under North district on Thursday. On this occasion, Buddhists held a rally and later performed rituals as part of the programme.
In this Kathin Chibar donation programme, devotees donated clothes and food items to the monks. Vidarshan Acharya Bhadanta Arshi Gina Nanda Bhikkhu took the seat as the chief guest. He came from Bangladesh.
In the programme, Buddhists recited mantras, hymns and held a discussion over Buddhism in the programme.
Bhadanta Atulananda Mahathero monk presided over the function.
