In Hockey, the junior Indian team registered a comfortable 4-2 win over New Zealand in the Sultan of Johor Cup 2025 at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, yesterday. Goals from Arshdeep Singh, PB Sunil, Araijeet Singh Hundal and Rosan Kujur helped India continue their winning run. For New Zealand, Gus Nelson and Aidan Max scored the goals. Earlier, the Indian team defeated reigning champions Great Britain 3-2 in their opening match on Saturday and gained the momentum. India will next face their arch-rivals Pakistan tomorrow.
