IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall in North East India Till 4th October

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted increase in rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall over North East India from tomorrow till 4th of this month. According to IMD, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch are expected to witness heavy rainfall at isolated places over the next two to three days. The met department has said that similar conditions are expected over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam tomorrow. Meanwhile, the weather agency has predicted strong surface winds at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha today.
