The state cabinet on Tuesday decided to go for 63 appointments in various posts, said Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) minister Sushanta Chowdhury after the cabinet meeting.
Chowdhury said the state government decided to recruit seven Sub-Inspectors in the Excise department through Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).
According to Chowdhury, seven among the 27 sanctioned posts are lying vacant in the Excise department at present.
Speaking to the media, the ICA minister said three new IITs have been made functional in Kanchanpur, Gandacherra and Santirbazar which need manpower.
“Fifty senior instructors (Group-C, non-gazetted) and six Lower Division Clerks (LDCs) will be recruited for the three new ITIs under the Industries and Commerce department. The selection process will be decided later,” Chowdhury told the media.
