The National Health Authority (NHA), New Delhi has appreciated Tripura’s efforts in implementation of Ayushman Bharat (PMAY) health scheme.
A letter of appreciation sent by Dr. Vipul Agarwal, CEO of National Health Authority reached the state on Tuesday.
According to the letter, Tripura gave exemplary performance in quality closure of grievances.
“With 100% of quality closure of grievances in the months of July and September and 95% in the month of August, Tripura has achieved a unique accomplishment in the country”, the letter reads.
Meanwhile, the Principal Secretary (Health) on Tuesday briefed the cabinet that the Covid positivity rate in six districts had come down over the past one week following the precautionary measures taken by the Health department.
In West Tripura district, the Covid positivity rate decreased from 0.72 percent last week to 0.49 percent this week, ICA minister Sushanta Chowdhury told the media.
He said, “total 42,48,609 doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the state—first dose 25,15,459 and second dose 17,33,150. Total 5,75,920 doses are in stock.”
