Visiting AICC in-charge Dr Ajay Kumar made a significant observation relating to TIPRA Motha and said, political visions of Congress and Motha are almost similar. He made the statement at a meeting with local Congress leaders of Sonamura in presence of PCC president Pijush Kanti Biswas on Tuesday. He, however, did not mention anything about forging an alliance with the TIPRA Motha.
Dr Kumar detailed BJP’s ‘failure’ in fulfilling the aspirations of people and addressing their plights.
He alleged, the ruling party is far from promises which it assured to fulfill before the election.
In his revival plan, Dr Kumar stressed hard works with sincerity by the party workers. He said, “Congress workers must reach door-to-door and wipe out wrong impressions about the party before the 2023 Assembly polls”.
At the same time, he cautioned the Congress leaders and asked them not to involve in a poll ticket spree.
Taking a stern stance, he said unruly party leaders will be ousted and expelled from all posts of the party.
The persons having acceptability in the society and who are transparent as well as loyal to the party would be eligible to get important posts in the party.
He also cautioned the party leaders against creation of division and individualistic attitudes in the party.
Overall, Dr Kumar asked the State Congress leaders and workers to maintain discipline and remain united in the struggle of gaining grounds in Tripura.
