Chennaiyin FC, Punjab FC bid farewell to their captains –

In the Indian Super League (ISL) Football, Chennaiyin FC yesterday announced the departure of their captain, Ryan Edwards, while Punjab FC parted ways with forward and club captain Luka Majcen. Ryan Edwards was an integral part of Chennaiyin FC since joining the club in 2023. He featured in 42 games for the Marina Machans during his two-year stint. On the other hand, the Slovenian forward, Luka Majcen, played a crucial role in the Shers’ debut ISL campaign. Majcen returned to PFC at the start of the 2024-25 season and was effective throughout the season.
