In preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Tripura, Central Observer Vivek L Bhimanwar undertook an extensive inspection at the Umakanta Academy to assess the state of readiness.
Accompanied by West Tripura District Magistrate and Returning Officer Dr Vishal Kumar, Bhimanwar meticulously reviewed various facets essential for the smooth conduct of the electoral process.
The visit primarily focused on ensuring strict adherence to Election Commission guidelines, efficient management of election materials, and the setup of secure strong rooms and counting centers. Bhimanwar emphasized the importance of secure deposition of EVM machines post-voting and underscored the significance of seamless arrangements throughout the polling process.
