Former CM of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) in-charge for Haryana and Rajya Sabha MP, has been entrusted with the additional
responsibility of overseeing the party’s Lok Sabha election strategy within the state.
The announcement came through a notification issued by the BJP’s national president, Jagat Prakash Nadda, on Saturday, which unveiled the names of election in-charges and assistant in-charges for 23 states.
Given Haryana’s significance with its 10 Lok Sabha seats, Biplab Kumar Deb’s dual roles ahead of the impending polls bear substantial weight.
