Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb came down heavily on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee for making the false social media propaganda against Tripura.
On Sunday while addressing a public rally at Manubazar, the Chief Minister said people of the state were well aware of the evil design of a section of the political leaders who want sail on false campaign at the cost of Tripura’s pride and reputation across the nation.
The Chief Minister said, “some leaders in Kolkata are hell bent in plotting conspiracies. They have also got links with some dubious international bodies to defame the state saying that Tripura is on communal fire. Their sole aim is to win elections- for this they are ruining the Tripura’s pride and glory. They are defaming the state”
“I believe people who take pride in being a son of this soil will reject them with a befitting political reply”, he added. He exhorted the people to be responsive to such mischiefs and conspiracies against the state.
A total of 1,035 voters from different political parties joined the BJP in this programme.
