Security blankets has been thrown in and around Umakanta Academy where Civic polls EVMs are kept and counting will be held on Sunday.
A senior police official said, all necessary arrangements have already put in place so that counting of the votes are done in a fair manner.
Officals said, the counting of the polls will begin from 8 AM morning on Sunday at Umakanta English Medium School and three counting halls were set up,.
SDM Sadar Asim Saha said that adequate security arrangements were made by the police to cover the entire premise of the school where the EVMs were kept for counting on November 28.
Along with the Returning Officers, the candidates of different political parties including the representatives or the agents will be allowed to sit inside the counting halls.
