The 10Gbps International bandwidth link between Agartala and Cox Bazar of Bangladesh was commissioned at IGW Agartala on Friday. This will ensure access to high-speed and high-quality internet services for Tripura as well as the other NE States.
A purchase order was placed on BSCCL (Bangladesh) for provisioning of one 10G IGW link from Cox-Bazar (Bangladesh) to Agartala via Akhuara on a lease basis for three years, PIB_INDIA Ministry of Communications tweeted.
According to the tweets, “The 10G IGW link has been put through and traffic was loaded for testing. The technical observation, monitoring and testing were done in accordance with the criteria mentioned in the Agreement between BSNL Corporate and BSCCL”.
The performance parameters during tests were found to be within the limit for acceptance.
