The leadership and dedicated activists of the BJP in Tripura have launched a special campaign titled ‘Mera Maati Mera Desh’ (My Soil, My Country) across the state. This campaign has been initiated in response to the call made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Under this unique initiative, leaders and party members are diligently collecting soil from every household in various assembly constituencies of the state. The collected soil will be sent to New Delhi and used in the construction of the Amrit Vatika.

On a recent Wednesday, BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee led a similar campaign in the Banamalipur assembly constituency. Addressing reporters, he stated, “We are conducting this campaign in accordance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal. The soil gathered from each household will be transported to New Delhi and utilized in the construction of the Amrit Vatika.”

During this campaign, soil was also collected from the residence of the late Sudip Sarkar, a martyr who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation in Kashmir. This gesture symbolized the honor and respect the BJP pays to those who have given their lives in service to the country.

Meanwhile, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder spearheaded a similar initiative in the Badharghat assembly constituency. Accompanied by MLA Mina Rani Sarkar, local corporators, and other party workers, Mayor Majumder emphasized the importance of making the program a resounding success.

The ‘Mera Maati Mera Desh’ campaign not only responds to the Prime Minister’s call for patriotic participation but also exemplifies the BJP’s commitment to grassroots engagement and its dedication to national development. The collection of soil from every household is a symbol of unity and collective effort towards building a stronger and more prosperous India.
