After successful implementation of GeM (Govt. e-Marketplace), Tripura University authority added another feather towards e-office by implementing ‘Samarth e-Gov Suite’ of Govt. of India for its smooth and effective functioning of official work. In this connection, the University authority took an initiative and provided three days hands on training during 27-29 March, 2023 to the faculty members, officers and non-teaching employees of the University so that they become accustom to the new system.
Prof. Ganga Prasad Prasain, Vice-Chancellor, Tripura University was overwhelmed with the Samarth customized features and specially thanked Dr. Deepak Sharma, Registrar of the University for taking the pain in bringing the Samarth team in the University from New Delhi. Prof. Prasain stated that in this digital era, Samarth is economizing the system, saving the time, bringing the transparency in the system. After its implementation, anyone can easily see his/her application/file status online.
Dr. Deepak Sharma, Registrar, Tripura University is known for his innovative work for the betterment of the University. Dr. Sharma is always putting his hard to create the better image of the University in the society. He rigorously works with the limited resources to bring the University in forefront. It is the result of his hard efforts that Samarth e-gov Suite is implemented in the University free of cost by which the University will save the hefty amount of fund which were incurred in procuring of various modules of e-office through private companies.
After Samarth’s successful implementation, the students not needed to move around the University offices for their day to day affairs like collecting and filling of examination forms, obtaining of migration certificate, mark sheet etc. They can easily get their desired documents online through Samarth portal after depositing the requisite fee.
