The 36th Convocation of IGNOU will be held on 3rd April 2023. The convocation function of IGNOU Agartala is being organised at Mukta Dhara, IGM Chowmuhani, Agartala. . Dr. Arobindo Mahato Regional Director, IGNOU Agartala said that all preparation for the Convocation function had been completed. Dr Mahato said, Dr. Deepak Sharma, Registrar, Tripura University will be the Guest of Honour of the Convocation and deliver the convocation address. The convocation function will be attended by host of Special invities, dignataries, renowned educationist of the State and all IGNOU Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators and other functionaries of the IGNOU Learner Support Centres.
Dr. Mahato said, this time 1540 students of Tripura under IGNOU Agartala who have successfully completed their course during December 2021 and June 2022 Term End Exam are eligible to receive their degree in the convocation. Out of 1540 students 475 learners will be conferred their degree in the convocation itself. Remaining learners can collect their degree from the Regional Centre office on working day by submitting the prescribed fee either in the form of Demand Draft or online payment through IGNOU portal. Registration of the participants/recipients of degree will start from 9AM onward in the convocation venue. The convocation function in Agartala will be held simultaneously with the Convocation function at IGNOU HQ, New Delhi which witness the gracious presence President as Chief Guest.
