Tripura will observe the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ and ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ across all districts on October 7 as part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service.
Tripura will join the nationwide observance of the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ and ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ on October 7 as part of the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said.
The programmes will be organised across every district of the state to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service and to highlight the message of public service, social participation and nation-building.
Chowdhury made the announcement after participating in an important organisational meeting held at the Tripura BJP Pradesh office on Friday. The meeting focused on preparations and coordination for the upcoming programmes, with discussions aimed at ensuring that the yatras are conducted in a systematic, inclusive and successful manner across the state.
In a message shared in connection with the programme, Chowdhury said that the upcoming yatras would provide an opportunity to strengthen the commitment towards public service and take the message of ‘seva’ to people across different sections of society.

“Through these yatras, our commitment to public service should become stronger, and the message of service should reach people from all sections of society,” Chowdhury said, expressing hope that the programmes would help spread the spirit of service among the people.
The Seva Jyoti Yatra is expected to represent the message of service reaching communities across the state. The programme will focus on public participation and the importance of dedicated service to society. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, meanwhile, will underline the commitment towards the broader objective of building a developed India through collective participation and continued development efforts.
During the organisational meeting, preparations for the October 7 programmes were reviewed. Organisers discussed arrangements related to logistics, coordination, public participation and the smooth conduct of events in different districts. The meeting also stressed the importance of coordination among organisational workers and concerned authorities so that the programmes can be held in an orderly manner.
The upcoming events are part of the wider Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which has been organised in connection with the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service. The campaign has included various programmes intended to highlight public service, social engagement and development-oriented initiatives.
In Tripura, the October 7 yatras are expected to bring together organisational workers and members of the public at different locations across the state. The programmes will also provide a platform to communicate the message of public service and encourage greater participation in activities connected with community welfare and national development.
