GST collections witness significant rise of 14.8% to 2 cr

 
Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections in the last month witnessed a significant rise to 1,99,853 crore rupees, marking a 14.8 percent year-on-year increase from 1,74,116 crore rupees in august 2025. According to the provisional data released by the Finance Ministry, Gross domestic GST revenue stood at 1,37,249 crore rupees, up 9.3 per cent from a year ago. GST collections from imports surged 29 per cent to 62,604 crore rupees, providing a boost to the overall monthly mop-up.
