Asian markets show mixed trends, European indices down

In Asian markets today, South Korea’s Kospi gained more than 0.2 per cent while Japan’s Nikkei 225 dropped over 0.1 per cent. In European markets, Germany’s DAX was trading 0.9 per cent down, and London’s FTSE 100 dipped over half a per cent, a short while ago.
