In Men’s Cricket, the Sri Lanka-India match was stopped due to a wet outfield on Day 3 of the second Test in Colombo. Sri Lanka trail by 373  runs.
 
Earlier, India scored 503 for nine wickets. Dhruv Jurel scored his second century as India declared at 503 on Day two of the second Test against Sri Lanka. Prasidh Krishna and Manav Suthar took wickets for India, leaving Sri Lanka frustrated. They felt the light was too poor for play to continue at the end of the day.
 
India won the first Test by 165 runs and currently lead the two-match series 1-nil. Team India will look to win the second Test and complete a series whitewash, while Sri Lanka will aim to level the series.  India also needs to win this match to move into fourth place in the race for the 2025-27 World Test Championship final. Australia is at the top, followed by South Africa and New Zealand.
