Tripura CM Dr. Manik Saha held a BJP organisational meeting with ministers, MLAs and senior leaders to discuss upcoming Village Council and Local Body elections, strengthen party organisation and finalise the roadmap for future political activities in the state.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday chaired an important organisational meeting with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ministers, MLAs and senior party leaders at Sonar Tori Guest House in Agartala. The meeting focused on strengthening the party organisation and preparing a detailed roadmap for upcoming political and organisational activities in the state.
Tripura Pradesh BJP President Abhishek Debroy, Tripura Pradesh BJP observer and MLA Dr. Rajdeep Roy, state government ministers, legislators and other senior office-bearers attended the meeting. Discussions centred on the upcoming Village Council elections and Local Body polls, along with broader organisational preparations for the days ahead.
Sharing details of the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said he participated in the organisational meeting in the presence of Pradesh BJP President Abhishek Debroy, state in-charge Dr. Rajdeep Roy, members of the Council of Ministers and state office-bearers. The discussions focused on important organisational matters and the future course of action.
BJP state president Abhishek Debroy also said that he attended an important organisational meeting at the state guest house in the presence of Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha and Tripura Pradesh BJP in-charge Dr. Rajdeep Roy. According to Debroy, detailed discussions were held with state ministers and MLAs regarding the organisational roadmap for the coming days.
The meeting assumed significance as the BJP prepares for the upcoming Village Council elections and Local Body polls in Tripura. Party leaders discussed strategies aimed at improving coordination between the organisation, elected representatives and the government, while also focusing on strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots level.
Several ministers and MLAs attended the meeting, including Sushanta Chowdhury, Sustana Chakma, Tinku Roy and Kishor Barman, besides MLAs Rampada Jamatia and Kalyani Roy. Other senior leaders and party functionaries were also present.
The organisational meeting provided a platform for the BJP leadership to assess preparations and discuss responsibilities ahead of the forthcoming elections. Emphasis was placed on maintaining effective coordination among ministers, MLAs and party office-bearers so that organisational activities can be carried out in a coordinated manner.
