Rupee settles 14 paise lower at 94.54 against US dollar

In the forex market today, the rupee depreciated by 14 paise to close at 94 rupees and 54 paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 101.24 in intra-day trade today.
