In Cricket, the third and final ODI between India and Afghanistan will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai this afternoon. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM. The hosts have already secured the series with a 2-nil lead and will be aiming to complete a clean sweep of the three-match series. Meanwhile, fast bowler Harshit Rana has joined the Indian squad for the final ODI after recovering from a knee injury.
The Shubhman Gill-led side won the opening ODI by seven wickets in Dharamshala. The rain-affected match was reduced to 25 overs per side. India then claimed a comfortable 170-run victory in the second ODI in Lucknow, with centuries from captain Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan.
Earlier in the tour, India also defeated Afghanistan in the one-off Test match by an innings and 300 runs inside three days.
