The results were declared during a press conference addressed by TBSE President Dr. Dhananjay Gan Chowdhury, who shared detailed statistics regarding student performance, district-wise achievements, and the Board’s plans for review and supplementary examinations. Despite the declaration of results, the Board refrained from publishing merit lists this year due to unspecified reasons.
According to the official figures, a total of 32,184 candidates appeared for the Madhyamik examination, including 14,769 boys and 17,415 girls. Among the subdivisions, Karbook recorded the highest success rate with an impressive pass percentage of 97.91 percent. In contrast, Gandacherra registered the lowest pass percentage at 68.81 percent. Officials also informed that 271 schools across the state achieved a perfect 100 percent pass rate in the Madhyamik examination, reflecting consistent academic performance in several institutions. However, students from five schools failed to clear the examination entirely.
The Higher Secondary examination also witnessed a substantial participation of students across Tripura. A total of 26,502 candidates appeared for the examination, comprising 12,307 boys and 14,195 girls. Out of them, 21,024 students passed the examination, including 9,411 boys and 11,613 girls. The overall pass percentage in the Higher Secondary examination stood at 79.33 percent.
In the Higher Secondary category, 60 schools secured a 100 percent pass rate, while one school recorded complete failure with no successful candidates. Jampuijala subdivision emerged as the best-performing region with a pass percentage of 78.16 percent. Gandacherra again recorded the lowest performance, with a pass rate of 56.85 percent.
TBSE officials stated that the Bachar Bachao supplementary examination would be conducted after two months to provide unsuccessful students another opportunity to improve their results. Students seeking re-evaluation or review of answer scripts have been advised to download application forms from the official TBSE website and submit them through their respective schools within seven days.
