In IPL Cricket, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 5 wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur last night. Chasing a target of 229 runs set by the Royals, Sunrisers reached the target in just 18.3 overs. Ishan Kishan was the top scorer for the visitors with 74 off 31 balls. Abhishek Sharma scored 57 runs. Put into bat first, riding on a blistering knock of 103 off 37 balls by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, the Royals posted 228 for 6 in the stipulated 20 overs.
Earlier, in an another match, Punjab Kings defeated Delhi Capitals by six wickets at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Punjab Kings achieved the target of 265 runs in 18.5 overs, which is the record for the highest successful run chase in T20 cricket history.
In a double-header today, Chennai Super Kings will host Gujarat Titans at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In the second match of the day, Lucknow Super Giants will take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
