In IPL Cricket, Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 32 runs at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai Last night.
Batting first, Chennai Super Kings posted 192 for 5 in their stipulated twenty overs, with Sanju Samson scoring 48, Dewald Brevis adding 41, and Ayush Mhatre making a quick 38 off 17 balls.
In reply, Kolkata Knight Riders struggled early and were reduced to 91 for 6 due to an excellent spell from Noor Ahmad, who took three wickets was adjudged player of the match. Ramandeep Singh and Rovman Powell put up a 63-run partnership, but it wasn’t enough as KKR finished at 160 for 7.
The win marks CSK’s second successive victory, while KKR continue to struggle for consistency in their batting and remain winless.
