Forex update: Indian rupee strengthens by four paise Vs dollar

In the forex market today, the rupee appreciated by four paise to close at 93 rupees and six paise against the US dollar. The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, was trading at 99.28 in intraday trade.
