India clinched a double podium in the women’s 10 metre air pistol and added a silver in the men’s event at the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo, Japan. Anuya Prasad won gold with a world record Deaflympic score of 241.1. While Pranjali Dhumal secured silver with a score of 236.8.
In the men’s 10 metre air pistol event, Abhinav Deswal added silver for India, scoring 235.2 to finish behind South Korea’s Tae Young Kim, who shot 238.2. Croatia’s Boris Gramnjak finished third. Earlier, Abhinav had equalled the qualification Deaflympic world record with a score of 576.
