In Men’s Cricket, India will take on hosts Australia in the final game of the five-match T20 series at the Gabba in Brisbane today. The match is scheduled to begin at 1.45 PM Indian Standard Time. The Men in Blue defeated Australia by 48 runs in the fourth match at Carrara Oval in Queensland on Thursday to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
Suryakumar Yadav and Co. will aim to finish the series on a high note. On the other hand, Australia will look to counter visitors’ spin attack in the last T20 before next year’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is just one wicket away from creating history. He needs one more wicket to become only the second Indian bowler to take 100 wickets in T20 Internationals.
If he achieves this milestone in the final T20I against Australia in Brisbane, he will also become the first Indian to claim 100 or more wickets in each of the three formats of the game.
