BJD(U) releases 2d list of 44 candidates for Bihar Assembly Elections 2025

BJD(U) today released its second list of 44 candidates for Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. The party has re-nominated its several candidates in the second list. Cabinet ministers of Nitish Kumar government Leshi Singh, Jayant Raj, Sumit Kumar Singh and Sheela Mandal have been repeated as a candidate for the assembly elections. Former MP Dulal Chandra Goswami, Mahabali Singh and Bulo Mandal have also got chances this time. Mahabali Singh will contest from Karakat assembly seat. Gopal Mandal, a multiple times legislator from Gopalpur assembly constituency failed to secure a ticket this time. Chetan Anand, son of JD(U) Sheohar MP Lovely Anand will contest from Nabinagar assembly seat in Aurangabad. Chetan is the sitting MLA from Sheohar but this time he is shifted to Nabinagar. Among other prominent names, Shubhanand Mukesh son of former Bihar Assembly Speaker late Sadanand Singh will contest from Kahalgaon assembly seat.
